After obtaining the license to remove the trees from the area in the region of the construction site of PCH São Francisco, in the municipalities of Ouro Verde do Oeste, and Toledo, in the western part of Parana, DM Construtora began the transportation of the equipment and mobilization of the employees for the initial stages of the project. The project is expected to mobilize some 200 direct employees. The generating plant will have a installed capacity of 12 MW. One of the great advantages of this enterprise is the low environmental impact generated by the project.
