ISO 14001

DM Construtora, always concerned with strengthening its commitment to the quality that is offered to its clients, is implementing the ISO 14001 throughout 2003. Because of the environmental impact on renewable resources that the world is currently suffering, the preservation of the environment is a factor of great importance to us. The disposal of residuals from work projects and the recycling of material are among the principal motives for acquiring the certification.

The ISO 14001 unites characteristics for the certification of a Environmental Administration System (SGA), thus guaranteeing the control of significant environmental impacts, tying the actions of the company to the growth of productivity for the rational use of resources and preventing in a parallel manner, pollution. To guarantee the effectiveness of the process a specially trained team in environmental and administrative control will be added to the system.

To illustrate the benefits offered by the ISO 14001, one can note the progressive increase in the number of companies that have acquired the certification, confirming that the system is a benefit for communities, environmental control organs, clients and civic action groups. Soon DM Construtora will be included as part of this growing list.
